Although we also sell fully certified CANBUS LED Conversion Bulbs, there may be some vehicles that still require these resistor modules in order to eliminate any warning errors and function properly. These are especially designed for our new and latest CREE LED fog light range which can be found here, although they will work on any HB4/9006 socket/bulb.
If you are having any issues with your LED/Fog Light conversion(s) such as the below then this is the kit for you: -
CANBUS Dash Error/Warning - most European cars are fitted with CANBUS systems, which warn you of bulb errors.
Hyper Flash - normally relevant to LED indicator conversions and in some cases other LEDs too, though it can occur on HID conversions too.
One Bulb Out - one side of bulb is not functioning.
These are very simple to fit and come complete in a kit as a pair. No cutting or splicing is required with these plug and play cost effective modules. These are compatible with any of the HB4/9006 LED or CREE bulbs that we stock. These are 50W/8Ω, which is the correct wattage for its application.
Simply plug one end into your vehicles base/connector port and the other into the HB4/9006 LED or CREE bulbs itself. Then it's just a matter of securing them in a suitable location. Please note that resistors do get hot so it is always advisable to locate these away from plastics.
The most common vehicles that require these resistor load modules are Audi, BMW, Mercedes Benz, Skoda and VW, though it is not limited to these manufacturers, as others may need these too.
