I write this review prior to receiving the H7 Leds. I write at this stage simply because I am impressed with the clear and concise email replies to a few technical queries I had concerning the fitting of the H7 CREE XHP50 LED Headlight Kit - 3000 Lumens in that, I thought the spring clip used to hold the existing halogen bulb in place would not clear the alloy cooling housing. I was promptly sent an explanation and photographs showing that the led and cooling housing actually come apart so that you can clip the led in place in the headlamp housing first, then fit the cooling housing to the Led. As this is not shown on the web image/s I suggested they update their web site to show this fact as they may be losing customers thinking the Leds won't fit.

These LED´s are really nice. Solid build quality. Main body of the lamp is aluminium it seems, very limited plastic bits on there. Installation was a breeze once I figured out how to install a key piece (second light i installed in under 10 minutes!). First one took significantly longer. This was because the instructions were not overly clear. Just 6 pictures to tell how to do it. Unfortunately the picture that shows that you have to remove the plastic connector and install that into the lamp harness for fitting the rest of the light into later was not clear. It took me quite a while to figure it out. That´s an area for improvement. Like the first reviewer, I was disappointed by the fairly large box that sits between the light and the connector. I was able to house this in the light harness with a bit of effort, and managed to close the watertight cap over it again. I can imagine if the box does not fit in the light harness and you have to keep that out installation would be harder.

I think that this LEDs are a much better choice then even HIDs. I use them on my 2012 Honda CBR 1000 RR and they don't only look good, the light is fantastic and I love the fact that they light up instantly not like HIDs... I had a bit of a problem with fitting them as they do have that box on the cable, it's not there in the pictures on the site but I saw it when I received them and that was the only thing I was not happy about, as on the bike the space is very limited and I was hoping they would fit in the headlight ( it was not the case ) but I managed to find some place outside the headlight. As a conclusion, they are awesome and I hope they will have a long life time because I don't want to use anything else now :))
