I bought the CREE LED 3W bulbs after replacing my dipped bulbs and noticing a colour difference. I fiited the new bulbs and WOW what a difference, so much brighter, I can see light being projected onto the road with just the sidelights on and the colour is white matching my other bulbs, so very happy with the product. Pros: Amazing performance & surprising range on these. Fitted as sidelight bulbs, were able to actually see some distance into the darkness ahead. Bright white light makes a great substitute for DRL's. No issues with CANBUS system. Cons: These are longer than traditional incandescent bulbs, restricting where you can use them. I planned on using them as sidelight bulbs, but they would not fit. Also attempted to use them as puddle or interior map lights, but discovered them too long for that too. In the end, I gave them to a friend where we fitted them as sidelights in a 2000 Boxster where they work really well! Before buying, check the depth of the light unit you plan on fitting them to.

I placed these excellent bulbs into the "eyebrows" of my W204 C Class, the appearance matches the Xenons and the brightness is on par with DRLs.
