10W LED CANBUS FREE - LOAD RESISTOR KIT

This 10W/39Ω LED Load Resistor kit is designed to solve all your LED problems. Many newer vehicles are very fussy with LED bulb conversions, and lets face it we all want LEDs as they look, feel and perform so much better.

If you are having any issues with your LED conversion(s) such as the below then this is the kit for you: -

• CANBUS Dash Error/Warning - most European cars are fitted with CANBUS systems, which warn you of bulb errors.
• Hyper Flash - normally relevant to LED indicator conversions and in some cases other LEDs too.
• One Bulb Out - one side of bulb is not functioning, such as one side light or number plate LEDs.

This kit is designed to work with any of the LED bulbs which we stock, if you are in doubt then please contact us and we will advise you further.

Installation of this is very simple and a wiring diagram can be seen in our additional pictures above. Please note that this LED Load Resistor will get hot so it is best to mount this near to a metal surface and not plastic.

Bought in an attempt to tame the hyper-flash on my new LED indicator bulbs which, despite assurances on compatibility from the vendor (not Horizon!), flashed like a stroboscope!!! Glad to say they worked a treat and i now have indicators that flash at the correct rate. I had to make an educated guess at the value of resistor required but seemed to have got it right. If you are planning on buying these, or indeed any resistors for this purpose, then a little thought should be given to installation, its not a job that should be rushed. Placement is important as they do run hot in use, so avoid fixing to plastics or flammable surfaces. In summary, for the price its hard not to recommend these resistors, they are inexpensive and they work. Just take a little time and thought over installing.
